Tim Holland has been involved with banking and finance for more than 35 years.  From 1962 through 1997 he was with Irving Trust Company and then with its successor The Bank of New York.  Upon retiring from Bank of New York in 1997, he established his own corporate financial consulting company, Holland Kent and Company, LLC, and worked on both a proprietary and subcontracting basis through the United States.

 

Throughout his career he has been active in industry associations and served as the chairman of the Bank Administration Institute’s (BAI) Forum on Bank Product Management as well as serving on its Cash Management Commission and other committees. He was one of the founders of the annual BAI Bank Product Quality Study and has given speeches in 22 states and 12 countries on banking and financial management topics.

 

He received a BA degree in English Literature from St. Bonaventure University and graduated from the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) International Banking School.  He has also studied Victorian Literature in the graduate program at Drew University and taught at the BAI Graduate School of Banking held at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
